Shoreline Work Put on Hold
Unfortunately the shoreline work was not completed this winter as the committee ran into a few snags with the bids going over budget. As a result, we had to go back to the drawing board. Additionally, the committee chair Ev Shultz was unwell over the winter. Gene Froc has now taken over the committee chair and the work is continuing as planned.

My grandparents have a cabin at East Trout Lake and I have spent 26summers there. I would like to comment that the erosion on the beach has been going on for MANY years and it should have had something done about it many many years ago. Unfortunatelly it wasn't delt with, so we are/should deal with it now. It is the most wonderful lake to be at anywhere in the world and I hate to see what will happen if nothing is delt with. I now live pretty far away but I still like to come up to East Trout Lake when I can. Please Please help save the cabins and make a nice beach!
